The wrestling team at UCF is entering is 20th season with the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA).

 

​

We strive for excellence in everything we do

In our previous seasons, we've earned 118 All-Amerians, 12 National Champions, 9 Southeast Conference titles, 3 National Champion team titles, 1 National Dual Meet title and a 179-63 dual meet record. The team has ranked in the top 10 every year within the NCWA, which now includes more than 140 teams.

Beyond Wrestling

The team also plays a vital role in filling the gap between high school and college wrestling. Without college wrestling, many wrestling careers would end with high school. Our student-run program extends an opportunity for wrestlers to continue competing while receiving an education from a top-notch university.

 

The team’s high standards has not only produced a decade of college wrestling success, but also a team average GPA of above a 3.0. These results will continue to produce dividends throughout the lives of our participants.​

Many of our wrestling alumni have gone on to become Florida teachers, coaches and business leaders – strengthening our Florida wrestling community and providing even more opportunity for future generations and leaving a lasting impression that starts with you, our supporters.

HOW WE COMPETE

Experience tells us that in order to maintain our position as a premier wrestling team in the NCWA, we must travel to compete with the best teams in the country, both in the NCWA and the NCAA. With that mission in mind, we plan to travel to events in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Iowa, Kentucky, Tennessee, Nevada and Texas.

We are proud to join top wrestling events in the United States this season, such as the NCWA National Duals and the NCWA National Championship.

 

We are also working to secure a dedicated off-campus wrestling room that will allow more time for training without the burden of sharing the space and time with other UCF organizations. Ideally, a new room would allow us to hold small clinics and events for extra training and fundraising.
 

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE

We have an ambitious goal this season to raise enough funds to compete at the highest level and carry the tradition of being a powerhouse within the wrestling community.

Your donation goes directly to the team and is 100% tax-deductible. Even a small contribution will help reach our goals. Like you, we desperately want the UCF wrestling traditions to continue, but we need your support.

​

 If you can't make a donation, please consider a different way to contribute. Write an open letter to the team to help inspire them to join and train for a National Championship. Share your experience with wrestling and how it's impacted your life. Donate your time and join the team for a training session and share your knowledge. Or, attend our matches and motivate the team to victory.

​

However you decide to contribute, know that we want you part of the team, you're appreciated and we're going to do everything we can to continue the tradition of being a successful wrestling program.
