David Sentner

David Sentner was born in Canonsburg, PA outside of Pittsburgh and started competing in wrestling in the first grade.  He compiled an overall record of 111-23 from 7th to 12th grade.  Sentner moved on to compete at West Virginia University from 1994-1998 after being recruited by Nate Carr were he became a 3-year starter at 126, 134, and 142.  WVU was nationally ranked each year and won an EWL title in 1998 along with a 7th place finish at NCAA tournament.  Wrestling is a big part of the Sentner family.  David's father Fred was an ACC Champion at the University of Maryland, his uncle Bob wrestled for the University of Pittsburgh, and his younger brother Stephen wrestled at Duke University.

After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management he eventually made his way to Florida.  Sentner moved to Orlando in 2006 for a job as Medical Device Sales Representative.   He has won numerous sales achievement awards throughout his professional career and several "President's Club" Awards for being a top rep. He had the desire to become involved with wrestling again and began volunteering his time at the University of Central Florida as an Assistant Coach since the 2011/2012 season.
